Soul’s Harbor Gala Fundraiser

Soul’s Harbor, Inc.

Soul’s Harbor is neither a rehabilitation facility nor a true homeless shelter. Soul’s Harbor could be categorized as a recovery home where men can learn tools to fight and live each day in a clean, sober and functional environment.

Please attend our Inaugural Gala to Benefit the Soul’s Harbor Capital Improvement Campaign

On Thursday, April 25th at 6:00 PM, Soul’s Harbor will be hosting its first ever Gala. It will be held at Edison’s located at 1724 Cockrell Avenue in Dallas. The very special guest speaker for the evening will be Mr. Alan Keith. Alan is a writer, producer, and director attended at Mountain View College Musical Theater Conservatory for acting and voice. Alan is vice president of Thompson Fine Arts, Inc. and assists in the events department of the Memnosyne Foundation.

Alan is a survivor of sexual abuse and he is also a recovering alcoholic. Alan’s abuser would bully him by luring him over and then pouring Wild Turkey down his throat to seduce him into a dark room, where the sexual abuse began.

Now, many years sober, he is a children’s book author and creator of “Andy”, the compassionate, fun-loving dandelion seed that travels the world helping people discover solutions to their problems.

Alan Keith, sat down for an interview with Stacy K, founder of the Justus Love Corporation, at the world-renowned Venetian room, located inside the Fairmount Hotel in Dallas, Texas.

We’d like to share three reasons why we feel entrusting some of your hard-earned charitable dollars to Soul’s Harbor would be worthwhile.

RESULTS – If a man completes Soul’s Harbor’s 6 month program along with our exit plan strategy, there’s a 96% greater likelihood of him living a long-term life of sobriety

STEWARDSHIP – We strive to be responsible stewards of the money entrusted to us. Less than 5% of funds raised/donated go to administrative cost

SELF-SUFFICIENCY – As mentioned earlier, gratefully, we can sustain ours self through generous donations of clothing, furniture, appliances, cars, etc. that we sell at our Thrift Stores. The need to come to you with a Capital Fund Campaign is a one-time endeavor to allow us to accomplish a “once-in-a-generation” need.

Please visit the Soul’s Harbor Capital Fund Campaign page for information regarding our Cause. The men of Soul’s Harbor would like extend a very heart-felt thank you to all the friends of Soul’s Harbor who, through their generous contributions, will allow Soul’s Harbor to become a bigger, better facility to assist men who might be homeless and suffering from a substance use disorder.
