There’s no Horsing Around…
Once a month, as a reward, we will be taking a group of men to Equest. These men have shown that they are interested in growing through learning. Our clients work with a licensed mental health professional, a certified equine specialist, and a therapy horse/herd to accomplish counseling goals. In the picture above, our operation manager, Dusty is bonding with a horse named Kali. And Kali doesn’t let just anyone pet him. Her trust must be earned. Soul’s Harbor would like to thank Equest for their partnership in this endeavor. |
Financial Planning for the Future…Here at Soul’s Harbor, we take a holistic approach to getting men sober. However, we also provide classes to help prepare them for when they leave and reenter society. Recently we had JR from Primerica teach a financial class for our residents. Primerica is a financial services company serving the middle-income market in North America.
